The 124th Key to The House of Alpha Serving the Heart of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky
​1928 – Alpha Beta Lambda Chapter was set up at Lexington, KY on June 9, 1928. Informal meetings had been held prior to this period from the spring of 1927. Brother T.M. Berry, third vice president, set the chapter apart in the name of the General Organization. The charter members were Brothers William H. Ballard, Jr., J. E. Hunter, Jr., J.M. McInham, A.A. McPheeters, Frank Madison Reid, Sr., N.J. Ridley, A.W. Wade, T.T. Wendell and Henry Arthur. Merchant.
